I am on a course of Propecia for my male pattern baldness. I am using it for the first time. I was told that it has a lot of anti-aging and anti-aging effects. But how much does it really work for? Is it effective in all cases? Does it work for the most effective results? Is it safe to use over the counter? Is it safe to take with any other medications? Does it really work for all the hair loss I have? I am going to post my results here on this forum.
This post was written for the most popular male pattern baldness sites and for many other men's. I am going to do a bit of research about the side effects of Propecia to see what works best for you. If you have any questions, please post them on the forum.
Posted byVic | Aug 22, 2015 11:01 AMI was prescribed Propecia to treat hair loss. I also was prescribed Proscar (Propecia) for the first time. It has been in my blood for the past 4 years so I was initially prescribed it to reduce hair loss.
I was told that the anti-aging effect of the medication was very limited, so I took it daily, and was able to control my hair loss for a year. I didn't experience any side effects at all. My hair was thicker and fuller than before and was still growing in the areas where I wanted to.
I have also had side effects from Proscar and Propecia, and I am taking them regularly.
I don't know what's going to happen with Propecia and Proscar, and I have not been able to get hair that I really want to grow back in. I have tried other hair loss treatment options, such as Minoxidil, Minocin, Hair Transder, and Minoxidil, and I do not recommend them. It is not a good idea to try and stop Propecia completely if you are taking Proscar.
Thanks in advance for the detailed information.
Vic | Aug 22, 2015 11:05 AMI have tried other hair loss treatment options, such as Minoxidil, Minocin, Hair Transder, and Minoxidil, and I have no side effects. I took Propecia for the first time, and have gained a lot of weight and size. I don't have any major side effects and can't see the benefits. My hair is still growing and has not yet grown back. I have no idea if it is safe to take it, but I know that Propecia can do the job, I am a little scared of taking it, I just feel like I need to do it because I am not a super fan of taking things too seriously.
Thanks again for the detailed information! I really hope you get your results in time!
Zahla | Aug 22, 2015 12:15 PMI have been using Propecia since I was a child and was really concerned about it. I started taking it at the age of 5, but at that point it was too much for me. So, I took Propecia daily for the first 2 months. I was so concerned at first, but I was a little apprehensive. At first I didn't know much about the side effects of Propecia, but eventually I decided to try it. I decided that Propecia was the way to go.
I am not a fan of taking Propecia, but I am also on a course of Propecia for my male pattern baldness. My hair has grown back to just around 4 years, and I am going to try and see if that helps. I am currently on the 5mg daily dose of Propecia, and my hair is still growing. I have to keep taking it, because it has the potential to cause side effects. I am going to keep taking the Propecia, because I do not want to take a big dose that will ruin my hair, but I am not sure how to take it. I also hope you can share your results with us.
Diane | Aug 22, 2015 12:12 PMI have been using Propecia for the past 2 years and have only experienced some significant hair loss. I have been on Proscar for the past 5 years and have gained almost 50% of my hair. I am now in total hair loss of over 50 years. I am no longer shedding my hair and am not sure what's going to happen.

Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows if I can ask for a prescription for Finasteride. I have been on Propecia for about 3 years now, so I think it might be a good option for some. However, I'm not sure how effective this medication is, so I will need to see how I can find a doctor for this. Any advice?

Hey,
I was wondering about Finasteride or Propecia. I have been on both medications for about 3 years now, so I would appreciate any advice on how you might find the appropriate dosage. Also, I know that these medications come with their own set of side effects, so I would like to know if it is safe to take them with a long-term regimen, which I do not want to risk getting crushed or broken. Any other recommendations on how to safely take them?
Thanks, DrHale!
Well, actually, my doctor prescribed Propecia to me, and I am considering trying to get a prescription from an online doctor that has experience with this. I have a question for you, DrHale.
Absolutely, and thanks for the advice, DrHale!
Good luck!
And sorry to hear you are taking Propecia, but it isnt as effective as you think.
Absolutely, and thanks for the info, DrHale.
Just to clarify, if you are considering Propecia, then I would like to know the dosage and frequency. Propecia is an oral medication that has been approved by the FDA for use in hair loss, and it can be taken once a day, preferably at the same time every day, depending on the individual's condition.
So, if you are taking Propecia and you are worried about the side effects, then it is best to take it with a meal or at least at a low dose. It is not a drug that requires a prescription, so if you have questions about its side effects, don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you for your response.
Good luck, and good luck to all of you. Just wanted to make sure you are safe for hair loss treatment.
I would like to hear more about finasteride as well as other options.
You need to talk to your doctor first if you have questions about how to safely take the medication.
That sounds like a great idea. I would also like to know if it is legal to take Finasteride.
Great question. I will need to talk to my doctor first. I am considering taking Finasteride. It's an oral medication used for hair loss. While I have seen it prescribed to treat some other conditions, I do not recommend it because it may cause side effects. I would just check with your doctor first and see if it is safe for you.
Thanks again,
Youre welcome, DrHale.
Well, I really appreciate your input!
Great question, so I will start with a different dosage and see what happens. If I can get it right away, then it will be effective in treating hair loss.
Absolutely!
